Indy is sometimes refered to as Marquette Heights Trail because the trail head is near the Welcome to Marquette Heights sign just off 29 after 474. Indy consists of 12 miles of pure singletrack. It has many challenging hills and descents, and a plenty of logs and natural obstacles. These trails are maintained by the Little Ade's crew.

Directions to the trail head (from Peoria):

From Peoria, cross the river into East Peoria, and head South on Route 29 (main street). Stay on this road until you reach Marquette Heights, just after you pass under the I-474 bridge. (Alternatively, you can get on I474, and take it to exit 9 at Route 29 South)

From there, you will see the sign for Marquette Heights. Turn left there. You can make an immediate U-Turn and park along the road there, or continue all the way up the hill and park in the lots by the baseball diamonds. The trail is in the trees between the town and I-474.
