I need some volunteers to help clearing branches and brush around the field to improve access for trail maintenance. I will be leaving from the main entrance at 9:00 am. Please call or send me a text if you can help.

The edge of the field along the far west end of trail 7 is being trimmed to improve emergency access and improve trail maintanence access. I trimmed about a quarter mile on Saturday. There is probably another 3/4 mile that needs to be trimmed. Once the brush and limbs are trimmed back, it will be mowed.

Jon and I are planning to leave from the main entrance of Black Partridge tonight at 5:00 pm. I have the park district's pole chainsaw, PAMBA's chainsaw, PAMBA's hedge trimmer, and the Park District's Gator. The tools are making quick work of the trimming.
